Our Story
Born in the Field, Built in the Shop
Dirty Bird Fabrication started the way most good things do — out of necessity. We saw fire agencies and mining operations making do with equipment that wasn't built for the job, and we knew we could do better.
We set up shop in North Idaho because this is where the work is. The terrain is brutal, the seasons are short, and the margin for equipment failure is zero. That reality is baked into every weld we lay.
Over 20 years and 500+ projects later, the mission hasn't changed: build it right, build it tough, and stand behind it when it goes to work.
